Education & Training

We developed and tested a training curriculum that ranged from stand-alone workshops to field research to integrate geospatial technologies into the social studies curriculum of K-12. Experts in geospatial technologies and history collaborated with K-12 teachers to identify the benefits and challenges of incorporating GIS into the classroom.

This project was funded through the U.S. Department of Education Teaching American History Grant program.
