Our work in geoinformatics addresses problems commonly faced by planners, engineers, and government officials. Using GIS, we can map and analyze spatial patterns not available through tabular data.
Our areas of emphasis include emergency management, hazard risk analysis, mitigation planning, and integration of spatial information across administrative and governmental sectors. We have developed state-of-the-art processes to allow local officials and groups to enhance and interpret their own data, thus ensuring their ownership of required plans.
