We are pleased to announce that a paper co-authored by Karen Comer, Director of Collaborative Research and Health Geoinformatics; Dr. Brian Dixon, Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health and Regenstrief Institute; Dr. Joe Gibson, Marion County Public Health Department; Dr. Marc Rosenman, IU School of Medicine; Jennifer L. Craig, Regenstrief Institute; and Dr. Jian “Frank” Zou, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was published in the October 2016 issue of the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Public Health Systems and Services Research (Frontiers in PHSSR). The article, “Using Electronic Health Record Data to Improve Community Health Assessment,” describes the results of their collaborative study sponsored through the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research, the National Network of Public Health Institutes, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
