On August 26, in collaboration with the IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Heath (FSPH), we shared findings from our updated analysis that revealed a 14+ year gap in life expectancy between the longest and shortest living communities in Central Indiana. We looked at gain or loss in life expectancy since the initial study in 2015, compared different ages across the life course to see how patterns differ, and considered the underlying social factors. Find the report, the event video if you missed it, and the PPT presentation here. This event was a partnership with Polis, SAVI, WFYI, FSPH, and the Central Indiana Senior Fund, a fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, Inc.

SAVE THE DATE! On November 18, we will host SAVI Talks: Equity and Criminal Justice. Details are forthcoming.
