Norma Erickson

Managing editor, IJHAC, and Assistant Managing Editor, digital Encyclopedia of Indianapolis

Norma Erickson is a graduate of IUPUI with bachelor degrees in Religious Studies and General Studies (concentration in Math and Science) and a Master of Arts degree in US History.  She works part-time as the managing editor of IJHAC, A Journal of Humanities and Arts Computing and assistant managing editor updating the Encyclopedia of Indianapolis for a new digital version. Norma is a member of the board of directors of the Indiana Medical History Museum and has volunteered giving tours of the Old Pathology Building since 2004. She leads field trips for school groups as an On-call Science Instructor at the Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab at Marian University, since 2017. Previously, Norma worked as an analyst in clinical, forensic, criminal justice, and athletic drug testing laboratories.
