Danielle Lafever

GIS Program Manager

Danielle works with the Geoinformatics team to provide informative environmental and hazard-related solutions, and quality GIS products. This requires close coordination with federal, state, and local partners and stakeholders. Danielle joined Polis in June 2022 as the GIS project coordinator, working with Indiana counties to update Multi-hazard Mitigation Plans. She received a B.S. degree from Michigan State University in Geography with minors in Environmental Science and Geographic Information Science. She earned a masters degree in Watershed Sciences with a specialization in International Development Studies from Colorado State University. Her expertise is in hazard mitigation, transportation, studies, and city planning. Prior to Polis Center, Danielle was a GIS coordinator for Indiana counties in the private sector. She is the a board member of the Indiana Geographic Information Council (IGIC).
