Danielle Lafever

GIS Project Coordinator

With the Polis Center, Danielle serves as GIS project coordinator of the Multihazard Mitigation Plans. In this role, she works with Indiana counties creating and updating county mitigation plans that identify risks and ways to minimize damage by natural and manmade disasters. She received a BS degree from Michigan State University in Geography with minors in Environmental Science and Geographic Information Science. She earned a masters degree in Watershed Sciences with a specialization in International Development Studies from Colorado State University. Her expertise is in transportation, alternative transportation, urban studies, and city planning. Prior to Polis Center, Danielle was a GIS coordinator for Indiana counties in the private sector.
